The Ashlar application by Spectrum to build a housing estate in Ningwood Environment Agency objects
The Environment Agency has objected to the planning application from Spectrum Property Development to build a housing estate in Ningwood on the grounds of it being a flood risk. The flood risk will not surprise the objectors however the lack of any comment about discharge of sewage outlet into the SSSI little more than a stone's throw away will come as a surprise and disappointment to all of those interested in retaining the Island's unique and irreplaceable coastline.
